On 16 August this laptop had no messaging connected to it. Sixteen days later two people from Bain Capital stood at this door and asked what had changed. This page is the answer, with the evidence attached. Numbers were counted on the machine itself. Anything estimated is marked.

What is on the machine
About 23 million characters of working material, roughly ten thousand A4 pages. 98 documents on a hospice project, 76 on a learning app, 56 on the US and listing track, 42 on Japanese visa work. Plus 1,142 raw conversation logs and 350 terminal sessions.
In the last seven days: 809 file changes in the learning app, 449 in the research track, 20 in the visa work. The door's own repository has 2,650 commits in eleven days, most of them written by the watchdog that checks every two minutes whether the door is still open.

Who has come through this door
Two people have ever entered a code and proved their address. Both work at the same firm. Nobody from the other twelve firms has come.
What I got wrong tonight — left in place

All three were told to the visitor as they happened. That is what the door is for.
What has not moved
Zero clinics in the United States. Nothing raised. The PCAOB audit has not started — four candidate firms picked, October engagement, Q1 target; the current Hong Kong auditors are not PCAOB-registered, so the statements have to be re-audited. The 43% no-show is unimproved. Our listing documents have had no commits since 21 August.
The sentence underneath all of it
The operator moved from people to machines. The deciding did not.
Nova quotes, books, verifies and reconciles, and hands to a doctor about twenty times a day. In cosmetics, the work around a brand — naming, copy, packaging briefs, regulatory checklists — falls to near-zero cost, and what stays human is what the brand is for and whether the output is good. The hospice site asks the same question from the other side. They are on the same laptop on purpose.
And the bottleneck is not the machines. The second visitor asked three times because the founder had not looked at his own screen.
